Road Safey tips for Motor vehiclists

 

Do’s

• Two wheeler riders must wear good quality helmets with reflector strips.

• Use rear view mirrors to remain alert of traffic approaching from rear.

• While travelling at night, use a head light that gives white light for at least 200 metres in front of your vehicle.

• Look out for children, the elderly and jaywalkers on the road.

• Maintain safe distance from other vehicles.

• Drive within speed limits.

• Use indicators before turning or changing lanes.

• Be careful while reversing.

 

Don’ts

• Don’t drink and drive.

• Do not follow a vehicle too close.

• Don’t drive with headlights on high beam.

• Don’t drive rash or irresponsibly.

• Don’t let small children sit in the front seat,

• Don’t leave children alone in or near a motor vehicle.
