FLOOD

Disaster management of floods relies on the efficient forewarning mechanisms that communities may deploy and relocate to safe locations along with family, necessary supplies and livestock. Further, it is important to have buildings located at safer locations and resistant to the damage should the buildings get flooded. And, after the building is flooded, the building should facilitate drainage so that the users can start occupying the buildings at the earliest safely.

Therefore refer to this section for Knowing your risk to floods based on the terrain, actions for preparedness before the floods, evacuation process during the floods and rehabilitation after the floods.
